This is a Christian Nation Actually, not quite... America was founded primarily by Protestants, with one nation under god not added to the Pledge of Allegiance until 1954. Further more, the first amendment was not exclusive to Christendom. Its exactly as follows: Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; Youre free to exercise -all- religions, not just Christianity. This also includes, though Im sure the great populace of America would soon debate it, Satanism. Which is why there is a cast-bronze statue of Baphomet which will soon find its home on the lawn of the Oklahoma State Capitol. And if you think Christians are persecuted... you should see how little the First Amendment actually applies to Satanists, as in the Black Mass that was recently cancelled at Harvard due to Christian Outrage... And if you -STILL- think The United States was founded as a Christian Nation despite the over-whelming evidence provided, you might want to take a look at the Treaty of Tripoli, 1797, where George Washington states: As the Government of the United States of America is not, in any sense, founded on the Christian religion,-
