This is a PSA. I am so tired of these disrespectful children. It is a shame some parents are afraid of their children. Start them on the right path while they are young and they wil grow up with it in them. MeMe, Doreen Samuel Marivette Samuel Marcus Mingo Terrell Mingo, yall know my grandma did not play with us at all. She gave us the business. As an educator, i cant stress enough how important it is that parents are the first teachers. Some parents teach their kids the wrong things instead of the right things. Ohh did I just step on some toes?? Welp i think I did so just take it, swallow it and keep it moving. It is up to us as a village to keep our young people educated on what they need to be educated on. I know sometimes our children will pick up a bad habit or imitate what they see others doing, but we have to keep them motivated with positive things, and keep them in the fold, constructively correcting them. Telling them how much we love them and how proud we are of them and telling them good job. Parents who are absent in your childs life, work your your way back to be and stay a positive force in their lives. Dont walk out on them cause one of your parents did or because you didnt want to assume responsibility. Own up to your actions. Be careful who you lay down with. Wrap it up before you get caught up. When that child grows up and makes something out of themselves, dont go running saying Thats my baby! stay in the hole you were in because you receive no credit for raising that child. Again I say it takes a village. If you see my child acting out, you have the green light to constructively correct him and let me know and i will go from there.
