This is a beautiful example of the Bentley region and proposed MetgasCON drill site from the air.. STUNNING! I saw it once described by a MetgasGO shareholder as a run down quarry and what else would they do with the land?... (I think his bitterness at .08c shares was shining through, as he sat commenting on what should happen to our land, our homes, here in the Northern Rivers, from his computer in Sydney. Or Hong Kong....But still..) What frightens the daylights out of me is the potential for toxins flared etc in this region from this industry that would simply sit amongst and below the constant cloud and mist that we get virtually every day?... We will literarily sit breathing it in, with no escape?... It is something that Brian Monk has always warned as a real danger for us with our valleys. he said this to me 4 years ago now when he first laid eyes on our very different landscape of rolling hills. His experience first hand from having to live, and endure living in a Gasfield daily, in Kogan in the Chinchilla region of QLD. Their eyes sting, their noses bleed, and they suffer headaches 24/7. So in response to you Mr Metgasco shareholder, I can think of many things that can happen on that land.. It can be farmed for the food on your dinner plate tonight, the beef, the milk, the crops that already exist there, in fact international quality beef as exported from the farm right next door to the so called Quarry. This land is far from barren in fact thriving, and we would prefer you did not speculate with our lives and our future, and the future of Australias food supply.
