This is a branch out from a campaign set up by the artist Anja Nohlan from Monahgan. The whole thing is to get as many people as possible knitting or crocheting squares which will later be all combined into beautiful eclectic blankets as donations to refugee centres and the homeless among the streets of Wexford town. I believe if everyone as a community helps their local we can see huge changes. So for anybody who is reading this and thinks they could spare a square it would be a real delight to see this project coming together. Already with some wonderful women from the knitting group in Gorey indoor market on board donating a square each, and the money from a raffle, were on our way to making this happen in time for christmas. The design and colour is up to you the creator :) Weve figured that the best size to go for would be a square of 7inches x 7inches.
