This is a cry for help (monetary). So if you need to not read further so we can stay friends that is truly okay ;) My husband Mike Morrone has Avascular Necrosis (the bone in his hip is dying and disintegrating) and he needs a full hip replacement. The surgery is scheduled for 14th July with a brilliant surgeon (and this is our 5th doctor so we are sure of the diagnosis). Yesterday we discovered we had been given misinformation and they will not allow a payment plan up front (they do allow a payment plan on the remaining balance after a good faith payment is made). So we need to have either $1000 (the good faith payment and then will need to make payments on 4k) or $1800 (the entire pre-pay DRs fee and wed not owe any more on the Drs fees) by 11th July Friday at 4:35pm or no surgery!!!! We will owe another $550 (our portion of the state health plan hospital stay) but we are pretty sure that payments can be made on that which we are totally willing to do). We are asking for enough to get the surgery done since Mike has been suffering for an entire year and there is no other alternative. Abygail is really hoping this can happen so her Daddy can play on the floor with her. If you can give even $5 that will help. Also if you are in the UK you can still participate and your funds are worth even more because of the exchange rate! Ive looked at donation sites that take credit cards but our timeline is too tight for those to work :( Anything you can donate to help is very very gratefully received and we are thankful for such wonderful family and friends.
