This is a fine article on the class content of Ferguson, MO and consequently the class content of this country. What it fails to recognize is that same class content is Global. And it fails to recognize that the underlying class problem is the qualitative change in how things are now produced. Since the microprocessor was applied to production, starting in the early 1980s, we still talk about more jobs. In fact, 44% of the people working today are paid the minimum wage, so if the solution is more jobs then they will be minimum wage jobs. Yes, Ferguson is part of the class struggle. But the solution is not more jobs, it is producing for everyones human needs instead of producing for the profit needs of a few billionaires. That requires a social revolution just as significant as the transition from feudalism to capitalism in the past. What we lack is the independent political movement to make the transition to the future that the microprocessor requires. Will that future benefit all human beings or will it be another class system that will benefit the few? Healthcare For All is part of the struggle for the future of all of us. huffingtonpost/lawrence-j-hanley/the-hidden-violence_b_5692820.html?fb_action_ids=685265301556654&fb_action_types=ogments&fb_source=aggregation&fb_aggregation_id=288381481237582
