This is a gaming problem Im having. Specifically, my Shadowrun campaign, so if you dont want any spoilers, dont read on. I tagged a bunch of people who, Im pretty sure are all gamers, but I couldnt tag everyone I wanted to. . . . . . . . . . . . . Alright, I had a great idea that I was implementing. It seemed to be going pretty well except for the fact that my players are a little op. But thats not the problem. Encounters can always be tailored and expanded. The problem is that I took a far fetched idea from Shadowrun 4th ed and based my long term arc around it with modules thrown in to introduce everyone to the system and give them some solid contacts who will be used to great effect in the future. 5th ed came out and my idea was made canon. If you know the updated fiction, think about whats going on with Fastjack and Plan 9. So, my big reveal, which I thought was a cool concept turns out to be obvious for those who read the books. I had to take a break from running for awhile to see if I can or should change my endgame. I would REALLY like some input. I want to get it going again, my players want to get it going again. The big reveal is now known in the universe, however my players are about a year or two behind current canon time. What should I do?
