This is a great drill. Theres a little more to it, but basically, ride along with your front tire intermittently locked up. Scary & fun, and valuable. There are a number of reasons to practice this, which we discuss early in the Control Synergy course (10/26). Control Synergy focuses on a little-attended to group of skills involving simultaneous & sometimes counterintuitive use of the motorcycles controls. What it boils down to is the fact that small finger & foot movements can make the difference between rubber side down, and bash plate up. These skills are of special importance to adventure riders, since managing the significant weight of adventure bikes on rough terrain often requires high finesse at low speed.
