This is a great example of how some students interpret language differently than how others would. I asked my student to put his name on the paper and he painted it so nicely! Then I asked him to paint a tree! Thats the yellow object at the top. Next I asked him to draw a picture of himself at the bottom and he looked at me and painted the word boy on his paper! It was so awesome bc he was so excited to have followed my instructions the way he understood them! The feeling of accomplishment he had was priceless!
