This is a great use of autotune! Much better than making Kanye West sound good! Its a mashup of the original Cosmos series and a Stephen Hawking doc. You have to see both series to understand whats going on, but Carl Sagan sings a song... Its a part in his series when he explains how the songs of whales change over time, but still retain the original song from years ago... Then, the part about not a sunrise but a galaxy rise, a morning filled with 400 billion suns, is the part in the series where Sagan imagines what it would be like to live on a planet in the globular clusters that orbit our galaxy. Our solar system is within the plane of the Milky Way galaxy, so we see just a thin streak of the sky that is our galaxy, but a planet in the orbital clusters around our galaxy would see our galaxy in all its splendor...they would see the face of the galaxy instead of a streak. A giant spiral as bright as the sun that planet would orbit, and much bigger, it would fill the horizon. I have hope that the human race will one day see such splendors...everything that the universe offers! The sky calls to us, and if we do not destroy ourselves, we will, one day, venture to the stars. -Carl Sagan
