This is a group which always likes to thank, share and celebrate: But I want to thank on a different note tonight… TO ALL OUR DAYTIME, WEEKEND AND EVENING VOLUNTEERS AT THE RESCUE! This Rescue simply wouldn’t function the same without our much loved, appreciated, dedicated and amazing team of volunteers, and as you all know the fur babies are always at the heart of what we do…ALWAYS! Many of our volunteers, including myself, have other commitments also: work, poorly loved ones etc to care for… and this year in particular hasn’t been a good year for many of us volunteers with bereavement and illness to try to come to terms with. It’s not been easy for some individuals at all…and all are in my prayers. Our dedicated team, despite their personal difficulties, always try to ‘soldier’ on the best they can despite their own issues in life. Why? Because they care. Oldham Cats Rescue wouldn’t be the amazing charity we are other than our amazing team, and indeed supporters. PLEASE…Can we just say a big thank you to all the team of volunteers at Oldham Cats, without which, none of this would be possible. Without the treasured and dedicated volunteers who work so hard, there simply is no Oldham Cats. Thank you xxx
