This is a lesson Ive recently had to learn. But I could not learn it before I truly felt that I had done everything I could to try to help him. Had I walked away sooner, I would not have felt like I did all I could, and I would not have been able to live with myself. The time finally came where I KNEW that I had done everything I could. And now the pain I feel is that of knowing there is nothing more I can do, which is a pain I can live with, because I know I truly did everything I could to try~and in doing so, I know I did what was mine to do.
