This is a little harsh at times but mostly true. An artist made a pretty solid list of guidelines for getting a tattoo. There were a couple I dont completely agree with, like not having a phone on you while youre here. 1. Id love for you to have a book, magazine, or your phone to distract you from the tattoo youre getting. Especially if youll be there a while and its just us. And granted of course it doesnt get in the way. However, headphones drive me a little crazy. If I need you to move or I need to talk to you and I cant because youre blasting Simon and Garfunkle in your head. Just ask, Ill play whatever music you want. I have the internet. But if youre looking to get a tattoo from anyone. These are good tips to get you started and a good way to have a good relationship with your artist. Also, being courteous and polite never hurt anyone. And SPEAK UP. I cant count how many people were standing RIGHT in front of me and mumbling what they want.
