This is a little something I wrote in response to a possible new job: Everyday I wake up and look forward to the challenge that awaits me. I kiss my son and my beautiful fiancé before I start to get ready for the day — with this alone I know there is no way I can be defeated in the life challenges and goals that await me. As I start to pick out my outfit, I begin to reassess the day prior and think about my successes for the day and what goals I may have came up short on. Once I have figured that out, it is time to think about how I could have overcome the shortcomings and think about how I was able to succeed on the goals that I had accomplished. Every day for me is a new challenge, and I use the days that have passed as a roadmap for success and motivation. I can always use past experiences to lead the way for new adventures. No day will ever be the same, but you can always look back and use them as a tool for change. These goals and shortcomings that I refer to are not always sales or work related; I use this same process for everyday-life. I feel if you are not trying to better yourself as a person — then what are you living for? And if I am not bettering myself as a person, how can I become a better father and future-husband? My family means everything to me, and I will do everything in my power to make sure that I can provide for them and to be a father that my son can look up too. I hope with this hard work I put in that one day, he will say he is ‘proud of me and that I am the best dad I can be’. Life is a ride that only you, yourself can control, and I refuse to fail in my life — which means that I will always do my best in everything I do — both personal and professional.
