This is a message I received from Eugene Benguche Sr. on Nov. 19th. I have no idea what he means by this. I have decided to post it to the Battle of The Drums so that someone can answer him. Sir,where actually does the leadership of Garifuna in Toledo lies? is it with NGC or the Battle of the Drums Secretariat. It will be disappointing and distasteful to realize that it lies in the former; however, if it is the latter,then there are many questions that needs to be asked especially those that would address todays grave incompetence in leadership by us and the Ahari. Imagine what will happen next year if this type of leadership is still in place. Let me now on behalf of all your disgruntled brothers, sisters and children extend best wishes to you and the entire Battle of the Drums Secretariat who have succeeded economically on the platform of Garifunadou, as you retreat to enjoy the proceeds of Garifunadou which was realized with our help along with the Ahari.
