“This is a nightmare scenario for the teenage girls,” said PJI attorney Matthew McReynolds. “This is exactly the kind of horror story we have been warning would accompany the push for radical transgender rights in school, and it is the type of situation that LGBT activists have been insisting would not happen.” “We’re not going to stand by and let 99.7 percent of our students lose their privacy and free speech just because 0.3 percent of the population are gender-confused,” Pacific Justice Institute President Brad Dacus explained. “LBGT activists are sacrificing the safety and sanity of our schools to push an extreme political agenda.” The institute has been involved in similar campaigns to reverse such policies in California and is demanding this school respect the privacy of all its students. It is supremely unfortunate that these debates are necessary in the first place. The transgender community’s supposed plight is the new cause celebre among leftist elites, who feel that the rest of society owes these deviants some special consideration.
