This is a perfect brief description of the process and clarifies 1. The Republicans were not requesting either a defunding or delaying of Obamacare in their last proposal that Harry Reid rejected and 2. Harry Reid and Pres Obama caused this shut down and are responsible for keeping it shut down solely to hurt people enough that they can gain a political advantage. This is what I have been saying - the far left now in power is willing to hurt their own people to any extent necessary to gain more power and control - I left the Democratic Party because they left me when they supported Barack Obama for President.
