This is a picture from one of my favorite Mork and Mindy episodes. Mindys dad who owned the music store was a trombone player, and played his horn in front of Mork. Mork assumed it was broken and fused the slide shut with sparks from his finger. I had just started playing trombone at the time and that scene made me laugh hysterically. I tried to find the video - if anyone can, please post it on this thread. Much has been written in the last 24 hours, but I need to add one more personal note to #RobinWilliams. My 11 year old self would like to say Thank You to Robin Williams. As Mork, he came into my life at a very difficult time, as Dad had passed away the year before. He showed me how to laugh again - he made me want to laugh and in essence, gave me permission to laugh again. In that weekly visit from my friend, I found my sense of humor again. And for that I am eternally grateful. That is how I will remember you. Farewell and Rest In Peace my beloved friend. May your spirit find the peace that you couldnt find here. You are deeply missed and will never be forgotten. #RIPRobinWilliams.
