This is a poem that a colleague of mine, Ml. Yazeed Jabbar, Capetown, wrote in remembarance of his father who passed away last Wednesday. May Alllah grant him jannah. He never looked for praises He was never one to boast He just went on quietly working For those he loved the most His dreams were seldom spoken His wants were very few And most of the time his worries Will go unspoken too He was a firm foundation Through all our storms of life A sturdy hand to hold to In times of stress and strife A true friend we could turn to When times were good or bad One of our greatest blessings, The man we called our Dad.Dearly will we miss him , he was our everything. When times were bad hed make us glad, and consoled us with a smile. Through hardships and through sorrow , he taught us, the brightness of tomorrow. Anyone can be a father , but very few a dad . For those who disrespect their father , I feel for you very sad. Serve him to your very best , until his put to rest .
