This is a prayer that I think we all should try to pray. Lord, a thousand times I have failed you at the start of the day. In an abundance of ignorance and unwillingness to yield to your presence, I wonder with a very heavy burden on my back. Lord, I settle for so many things that arent even meaningful to me and always search for something less than divine. Lord, this is a dead end road for me and I dont know what to do. I see the implications of this path but I dont know how to change? Please help me and show me that Your way is far greater than my own. Dont let me settle for anything second best because you are the greatest of all. Guide and guard my heart of Lord in all that pertains to me. Let Your will be done and not my own! In Jesus Name do I pray this, amen. This is a prayer that I feel needs to be applied to my life as well because Ive been settling for second best these last few months. If you feel the same way my friends, pray this prayer or something similar to it. The Lord knows your heart and understands fully of your ways.
