This is a question from our dear sister Rachel Allen: I know we’ve all spoken about coming under spiritual warfare in the last few weeks. I’m just curious if anyone has seen that ramped up several notches just in the last week? When I wake up every day I am overcome with the desire to participate in activities that I once did and have repented for. The compulsion is so great. It’s almost like an addiction. The only thing that will quell the intense desire is when I read the Word of God. After I’ve read my chapters in my Bible, the desire is gone. Last night (12/6), however, there was another attack right before I went to bed. A random thought popped into my head that was not appropriate for a Christian to be having it. I quickly realized what it was and told the oppressor, Away with you. For it is written: Whatever things are true, noble, just, pure, lovely, if there is anything praiseworthy or of any virtue, think on these things. I know I paraphrased, but the point evidently did the job because the oppressor left me. I don’t want people to have ramped up spiritual warfare, but sometimes I feel like I’m alone and was just wondering if others have begun noticing this just within the last few days.
