This is a reminder that the public hearing for the proposed tattoo parlor at 1050 West Beech Street, between Georgia Avenue and Florida Street, will take place at the city council meeting on Tuesday night (August 20th) at 7 PM. The resolution will be discussed and voted on at this meeting. This will be your opportunity to tell the city council what you think about this. The council meeting takes place on the 6th floor of city hall. There are several other things on the meeting agenda that should be of interest to residents, including two resolutions for the city to borrow an additional $44 million. Yes, that is a 44 with six zeros after it ($44,000,000). That is more than half of the city’s total budget for the year.
