This is a serious point. People should be allowed to do what they want, wear what they want, look the way they want and say what they want, AS LONG as they are causing no harm to other people. We’re living in a world where there are way too many different groups with different beliefs, so of course something someone does is going to offend someone, somewhere. We’re also in the year 2014, and people should learn that maybe that is against their own beliefs, but it isn’t against the person in question’s. If they are showing a bit of cleavage, but not going after your man (or woman), leave them be, let them do what they want, it’s their body. If they’re voicing their opinion and aren’t being an asshole about it, let them be, or perhaps voice back your opinion, and guess what. Don’t be an asshole about it. It’s really not rocket science, and I’m genuinely surprised that so many have yet to grasp this quite simple concept. The fact is, if someone wants to wear something that you may not personally like, or wants to have their make-up or hair in a way YOU may not personally do yourself, why is that your business? Why should it bother you? It’s not like they’re taking photos of themselves, then sneaking into your house in the middle of the night to re-create the exact same look on yourself. It’s not your body, or choice. So why be an asshat about it and then BECOME the one to cause pain and upset on someone by being ..an ASSHAT. Simple rule, and remember it. If somebody is doing something they enjoy, and they are not harming anyone (including themselves) then let them continue, and stay the heck out of their business.
