This is a space for the Many Tribes - One People folk who seriously and lovingly wish to discuss spiritual challenges they and others experience or are confronted by. The guidelines are simple: 1 - Let us always when posting be living examples of loving all people - but not loving all acts that others do; always having that distinction clear in our minds. Sensitive, caring and loving people do not engage in finger pointing, ad hominem attacks, or put-downs; we all come from our own spiritual walks. This is not a space for people-bashing. 2 - Let us engage in dialogue with each other in the spirit of love and mutual respect: so that all can feel comfortable and safe in presenting and discussing sensitive issues and questions - issues that arise not only in our immediate personal lives and minds, but which confront us as a people. Thus, 3 - Listening first (before dashing of a hasty reply) is important, and then replying sensitively, substantively in kind, after reflection and meditation and perhaps prayer. Sometimes, after the best initial reply is to use the delete button on it, and then write and post a response we can live with. 4 - Let us remind ourselves to be slow to judge, tolerant and patient, and especially respectful and loving. 5 - Remind ourselves that there is no right answer; therefore no one has the right answer. There are only answers that are arrived at through reflection, prayer and meditation, discussion and dialogue. After all, we ultimately filter everything we see, hear, observe, etc, through our own being, and form our own conclusions that make a best fit for us. It is easy to forget sometimes, that what fits me may not fit you the same way, and vice-versa: this is a truth that we live with as spiritual beings experiencing a human existence. Welcome to Spiritual Challenges in Todays World. Blessèd be. Klaas+
