This is a very difficult and challenging decision. I know that I have not lived a perfect life,...but a somewhat average life...I am not saint, and I am a sinner. I am not currently a member of the Democratic party, but I was. Today, I lean conservative, because, as an older, wiser man; and, a veteran, I look at things differently. I, Mark Jackson, announce my intention to run for the 6th u.s. congressional district, as as independent. I have no staff,and no supporters. I will run on a new platform, with an agenda unheard of before. I believe in a smaller, more efficient government. I believe in workers rights to organize. I believe in a respectable minimum wage. I believe in respecting the rule of Federal government as laid out in the U.S. Constitution. I believe that we should support and defend the the Constitution, even when things arent going your way. I believe it is right to give everything to veterans when they come back home, because they risked it all when they left here. More info coming soon. I only need 2000 signatures which isnt much or hard because I will do it face to face.
