This is a very sad post but thanks to a very very few people we may not be welcome back to Tebay 1st The ride in May was cancelled due to the bad weather and the farmer and his wife kindly took bookings for camping and corralling over night for 5 horses and riders ( you know who you are ) they moved their own stock to make room for them and they did not ring to say they were not coming and they waited in for them all day so now Tebay has no camping or corralling as they will not have EGB members back. 2nd On the ride on Sunday a person attending the ride shouted at the farmer to slow down when he was driving his quad on the road going to his own farm I do believe the farmer told this person in no uncertain terms what to do. Why is it that a hand full of people can spoil a ride for so many we had 100 entries and now half a dozen riders have made it nearly imposible to have this ride next year. The ride organisers have a hard enough time without having to grovel and appologise to the land owners for something that is not there fault. I hope that the people concerned reading this do something to make amends for all the trouble they have caused. Back to top
