This is a week overdue and to Don Donahue I am sorry, but I want - TopicsExpress

This is a week overdue and to Don Donahue I am sorry, but I want to congratulate my dad on 22 years of sobriety. Even though my parents separated when I was 7, my dad never ceased to make me feel like anything less than his son. He made it to every ceremony and graduation, every one of my wrestling matches, and never forgets to call me to wish me a happy birthday. Coming from a working-class family, my dad never bought me crazy expensive things which is fine because the principles and convictions he bestowed upon me made me into the man I am today. Regardless of the massive peer pressure, I never once dabbled in substance use through high school because of his character and example. Even when I felt like I was alone in a situation he was always there to talk to and encourage me with his unconditional love. Congrats on 22 years dad, you have taught me even when things seem like theyve gone to hell, to never give up and that hope is a reality. Love you a ton, we need to hit up Redbones sometime soon.
