For co-directing a frightening room, and sliding in at the end of the night to scare and then celebrate after family Halloween fun - There In Spirit Award: Stephen Scott Cavoretto For playing their role in a sh*t your pants manner, and laboriously using an extractor bit to remove stripped screws - The Sh*t Extractor Award: Christopher Port For providing sustenance and spectacular make-up artistry - The Bud Westmore Award: Sandy Holcomb For keeping a cool head while managing a munchkin, and keeping others calm as they entered the L.A.B. - The Frightfully Cool Award: Karen Mouser Darr For filling the basement, and our future nightmares, with hours of horrific screams - The In Your Screams Award: Michelle Crashette For getting to work in a lab for the night, which is their current career aspiration - The Dream Job Award: Kerri For torturing our dreaming subject as a researcher, and being tortured as guests entered into their own nightmares - The Braintickler Award: Brad For taking all of our nightmares out of our brains and putting them onto the screen - The In My Head Award: Chris Gray For directing a frightful room, and using their authoritative voice to provide a sense of calm as guests sat contemplating their impending fright - The Dr. Mood Setter Award: Kirsten Hove For making great signs and horrible eyeballs - The Crafty Award: Andrea Dolin For stepping in to knock out construction tasks, and kick butt on Halloween night, before heading off to follow her heart to Seattle - The Were Gonna Really Miss You! Award: Martha Thompson For being a licensed therapist and dream worker who agreed to don a lab coat and scare people in a simulated nightmare - The License Revoked Award: Meg For creating a savage room and being toe-tally frightening on his fourth surgery/torture Undertaking - The Optical Delusion Award: Young Wes For suggesting that a real scalpel with the blade dulled would be a great prop, and really getting into their role for four hours - The Real Surgeon Award: Eric Madar For getting into the heads of our freaked out guests, and analyzing the meaning of this years Undertaking - The Schitzo Award: Jude Morris For being the most enthusiastic new volunteer - The Fresh Blood Award: Jeremy A. Valencia For creating Hella Complicated Sh*t as part of a Rube Goldberg maze, and not just helping with, but also teaching construction techniques, including using the line the Qi flows from your belly, through your arm and the drill, into the screw - The Grasshopper Award: John-Michael Hernandez For efficiently managing the maze traffic - The Channeler Award: Jessica For waiting to get sick until the day after Halloween, providing the most scares per square foot, and being a terrifying rat controller - The A-Mazing! Award: Cameron A. Crisman For staying scary as a rat in the maze without a mask - The Unmasked Award: Michael Alan Huff For getting on the UScares Award nomination list without being able to make it to any meeting or the haunted house - The Ghost Award: Sonia Martinez For filling his role to the utmost, then taking it to the next level when asked at the last minute to fill in in the Dream Chamber - The 37th Chamber Award: Matt Gee For being the best new room director, in the toughest location to build - The Freshman Homecoming Queen Award: Rebecca Anderson-Bergman For arriving just in time to set up the tent, and being awesome - the Scoutmaster Award: RaMu For getting things organized, getting the right people in the right places at the right time, and being available to handle any on-line or computer tasks on short notice and with great effect - The Virtually Always There Award: Annelise Esilenna For keeping the guests in line confused with a baffled look, and being our reporter on the Haunted House beat - The News Daze Award: Judy For their great line management, and for reminding us through their own actions that the Undertaking is not about improving our biceps by lifting bags of rat-poop, or working our abs by coughing out dust slaving away in the basement, but that what were really about is FUN! - The Most Improved Chillaxer Award: David Hirtz For getting a room idea into completion, making their stamp on the liability sign, and actually being the first to propose combining Lab and Nightmares into one theme, all without ever showing up - The Mind Control Award: Zephir OMeara For seeding the Lab theme - The Dream Seed Award: Brandy Doyle For creating a means to capture peoples nightmares, and the survey to uncover their fears - The Barbara Walters Award: Kathy Ketman For transcending the haze and keeping himself and others safe - The Safety Meeting Award: Ron Holcomb For pulling a home improvement manual with compressor diagrams out of their bag while on the safety orientation - The Magic Bag Award: Talkaholic For coming through to do some great work painting - The Wet Paint Award: Nieves For showing up on Halloween night to play a role, and then disappearing - The Cameo Award: Edward For their great demeanor while helping build, and for bringing chocolates to the afterparty - The Sweetness Award: Marie For showing up to put in a good days work, and then to complete a crucial task on the slide Halloween afternoon - The Helpful Injection Award: Gino For writing to offer to bring a soundsystem and DJ at right about the time I had given up on throwing an afterparty and just analyzing data instead - The Data Analyst Award: Marc Fong For helping keep the dancefloor going in the overheated basement - The Beat The Heat Award: Josh/ Danny Gloverrrrrr For something or another - The You Cant Give Yourself An Award: Alex Zuckerberg Darr For getting sick so she could spend time creating amazing rat masks instead of going to work - The Pied Piper Award: Rocio Rivera Escamilla For reminding us how scary roboting is in a haunted house setting - The Unreal Award: Derrek Gerughty For creating horrifying sounds to accompany the scared screams - The Last Minute Long Distance Soundtrack Award: James Powell For coming by to take care of a variety of construction tasks - The Utility Award: Frank
