This is all window-dressing - anyone who thinks our perverted judicial system is going to change to reflect the rights of victims over the so-called rights of offenders is deluded. The pernicious Human Rights Act - a piece of EU legislation pushed most forcefully by the odious Cherie Blair - who just happens to make a living from it - will continue to look after the imaginary rights of the criminal classes.
