Despite the image that society has cultivated for your law enforcement officials, politicians, teachers, and bosses, the TRUTH is that many of them dont know what the hell theyre doing, and didnt achieve their positions through honesty, integrity, and sacrifice. Theyre there because of nepotism, dishonesty, back-room deals, and sheer luck. Would you have the courage to walk up to a cop and ask to see his license and registration? Would you have the courage to disagree with someone who has the power to arrest you? Would you let your fears outweigh reality? Speaking from personal experience, I HAVE called out a police officer for being biased. At first he thought it was funny, then he got offended, then he got threatening. But you know what he eventually got? Afraid and apologetic...because he didnt want his commanding officer to find out how he had behaved from the start, as well as how he had reacted to my valid, UNEMOTIONAL observations. Dont be afraid to stand up to your boss, your cops, or any other authority figure. People who truly deserve those positions have an ability to listen, understand, and EMPATHIZE. The ones who smirk or get angry are EGO DRIVEN and dont have your best interests at heart. May I see your license and registration, officer? ~Miro
