This is an UPDATED Watch and Act message issued by Country Fire Authority for Shady Creek, Trafalgar, Trafalgar East, Willow Grove, Yalungah, Westbury. The Westbury bushfire is currently not yet under control. Spot fires and ember attacks have been reported at Willow Grove Road (locally known as Seven Mile Road) in the area south of the junction with Old Sale Road and north of the main transmission lines. The fire is could now impact Trafalgar and Trafalgar East areas north of the Princes Freeway, Shady Creek, Yalungah, Willow Grove, Blue rock Lake and Westbury at any time between 7PM and 9PM. Visitors and campers at Blue rock Lake are advised to consider if they need to remain in the area. If you decide to leave Blue rock Lake do not travel via Old Sale Road.
