This is an acoustic version of John Butler Trios song Revolution, off of their 2010 album April Rising. John Butler is also an activist and environmentalist from western Australia. In 2012, Butler joined 150 people in protest outside the BHP Billiton headquarters in Melbourne, to stop their involvement with the James Price Point gas project, who wanted to build a refinery in the Kimberly by taking peoples land. Kimberly is one of the 9 regions of western Australia. Eventually, the Kimberley encroachment was scrapped because no oil company wanted to go near the site because of such community opposition, thanks to Butler and many others. This song is about that.
