This is an actual example from the IRS website on Roth IRAs: (irs.gov/Retirement-Plans/Plan-Participant,-Employee/Retirement-Topics-IRA-Contribution-Limits) Examples Danny, an unmarried college student working part-time, earns $3,500 in 2013. Danny can contribute $3,500, the amount of his compensation, to his IRA for 2013. Danny’s grandmother can make the contribution on his behalf. Yes, IRS, Im VERY sure, Danny, the part time college student, will be depositing every single dime of his $3,500 in to a @#$@#$ IRA account instead of: -Xbox -Ecstasy -Crib notes -Biznitches -Weed -Food WTF? I defy the United States Government to find a single, actual human being in the USA who earned only $3,500 and deposited all of that in a @!$%^ IRA. 3/4 (or more ??) of the population not living below the poverty level dont contribute to an IRA, but Danny, the broke college student, is. Of course Danny is, in the land of @$%@#& make believe, aka the Internal Revenue Service. Youre making me sound like a gd Republican. arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh p.s. Dannys grandmother is dead. Happy Thanksgiving
