As this season in our life ends and a new one begins, Ive been thinking about the wonderful, the painful, and the grace filled lessons Ive learned during these months. Theres too many to write. And some are too personal to share. But I felt like these may speak to you as well. (Long post) 1- Contrary to our opinions and doctrines about God, sometimes He WILL ask you to do things that hurt. But that is why He created grace. 2- He always walks beside you. Even in the really crappy parts. 3- As people, our ability to love is amazing. Its so beautiful how in such a short amount of time, you can deeply love someone. 4- Loving where you are now doesnt diminish how great the past was too. 5- When God brings friends to you, they are the best kind. And the connection surpasses the time frame it has existed in. 6- It is possible to be the most tired youve ever been... the most taxed youve ever been... the most stretched youve ever been... but still be happy you chose the path youre on. Thats called the peace that passes understanding. 7- People will always think youre crazy when you do something risky. Youll be laughed at. Mocked. Ridiculed. Gossiped about. Thats ok. Youre moving forward while the critics sit still. 8- Seasons end. Just when they are supposed to. And dreams come to fruition. Just when they are supposed to. 9- Above all else... He. Is. Faithful. And He is good.
