This is an amazing story & reminder of how fragile life is & of how much there is to be thankful for! When Anthony was 6 months old he was just hours away from passing away from acute pneumonia...his dad was in the military & we took Anthony to the military hospital where I was told that I was being a hysterical, first time mom, Anthony wld be fine, give him antibiotics & go home...I knew that I was not being a hysterical mom but that something was VERY WRONG with him...so I stood up & told Michael that I wld b waiting outside the office bc we were going to take Anthony to a REAL DR when we left there...so we did & they xrayed his chest & were so concerned that they wanted to have an ambulance pick him up to take him to the hospital...we sd that we wld take him & when we got there, they hooked him up to IVs & put him under an oxygen tent...his lungs were over 3/4 full of fluids & we were told that if we had taken Anthony home that night like we were told, he wld have died. I wish that I cld have looked them up & told them THANK YOU FOR SAVING ANTHONYS LIFE bc if it wasnt for them, he wldnt b here today!! I am so grateful that HE IS HERE, WITH US, TODAY! Anthony, I love u! I am so grateful that u r alive & well today & doing well in life, with a beautiful wife & 2 beautiful sons!
