This is an anonymous letter directed to Ms. Michelle Trotter. Any of my personal information has been altered to protect my employment with the Pier One Store in Corona. 1. My manager Adriana St. John has opened store early November 2012 Black Friday and was written up for this. 2. Approx. Sept 2012 an email was sent to Layla regarding store deposits being late. Adriana spoke with Layla in regards to this matter was told Layla she had either forgotten to deposit the deposits or Adriana did not see the deposits in the safe. A. THIS IS A LIE. I have personally seen the deposits (clear bags) in Adrianas purse at her home and deposit bags were ripped open. Some money still remained in deposit bags. B. I have personally been to Adriana’s home to pick up store key and her ATM card to make purchases for her to keep her sales up. 3. Adriana approx May 2012 was over heard in office asking repeatedly to borrow any amount of money but $1700 was needed to repay deposits she had borrowed against. I know her mother-in-law unknowingly loaned her $1000 for this debt. 4. Directly into Adrianas home to the right of her front door is a dark wood cabinet with brass trim which was ordered by corporate to be destroyed due to infestation was removed from Pier One Corona store and kept by Adriana. 5. On approx 2009/2010 an employee was illegally fired by Adriana over the phone. When employee came into Corona store to pick up her last check Adriana paid her personally $300 out of her Adrianas own wallet. When employees last check came into store Adriana tore the check up and discarded. An employee named Cheryl in Corona store now on disability witnessed all this. 6. Adriana sleeps in store at nights off and on 7. Adriana has thrown up in office trashcan and written up for not cleaning up mess. 8. Adriana has had her mother in store after hours SHE IS NOT A PIER ONE EMPLOYEE working in store decorating and cleaning up. 9. Adriana has marked miscellaneous furniture pieces on clearance or damaged ( tan/beige sofa) so she can purchase items at greater clearance. Items were not damaged. 10. Adriana spends repeated hours in office leaving floor with no manager help. She has been written up for this in past . 11. Adriana felt she would be terminated by Kate (prior manager) so Adriana took a 1 yr medical leave of absence to insure safety of her job and returned once Kate was no longer working with Pier One. 12. Adriana has been over heard telling persons on telephone that there is no alarm system in store only cameras. 13. Information not confirmed but Adriana s last two jobs of employment Payless Shoes and GNC were lost due to similar situations. Adriana said jobs were lost due to other employees theft and she was blamed.
