This is an editorial (click on story below) I wrote about the Vamos A Tucson Mexican Baseball Fiesta for Inside Tucson Business. The dates are October 3 - 6 at Kino Stadium. Special thanks to Jessica Stephens from Visit Tucson for making the arrangements. I wrote "For those not familiar with Mexican League Baseball, it’s as popular as the MLB is to us, if not more so. At games there is electricity in the air, music playing all the time, mascots on the field, people dancing in the stands, tacos and tortas instead of hot dogs and peanuts. Fans follow their teams with fierce loyalty and pass the love of the game on from generation to generation. And this fall, our city gets to experience it first-hand as host to the Vamos a Tucson Mexican Baseball Fiesta."
