This is an interesting article... Personally I find the way toys are marketed to our kids really sad and disappointing. Why is it so hard to find say a toy kitchen in any colour other than pink? Why are boys still called a sissy or worse when they enjoy dolls or other girl only toys. Why does almost every female doll have long hair and a dress? Why cant our kids just decided for themselves what they want to play with, without these direct and indirect messages bombarding them all the time?
