This is an open letter to Target, Wal-Mart and other merchants and retailers that may be in similar positions. The 14th Amendment to the Constitution of the United States provides “equal justice under the law” for all Citizens, since you have found it JUST to sever your ties with Paula Deen for using pejorative racial slurs against our black citizens then I expect you to inventory all of the items you offer for sale for content that is racial, especially Audio and Video products, as well as, written, labeling and suggestive advertising. It really does not matter who used the language or what the intent was. If you find any pejorative terms, such as Nig##r, Nig#a, Cracker, Honky Spick, Slant, or any other derisive terms used against a particular racial group whether they be Black, White, Hispanic, Asian or any other racial group in these United States. Then I expect you to sever your ties with these entities as you have with Ms. Deen, anything less is a clear violation against her Constitutional Rights and a failure on your part to observe honest and moral positions on these issues. May we, the Citizens of these United States hear from you? It is our hope that Corporate America is responsible and transparent, may we, please, hear from you?
