This is an opportunity to provide analysis and technical help desk support for a government customer. You will interface with multiple levels of users, management, and technical staff. You will provide low to moderate level of customer service support for office automation applications, personal computers, and printers. You will also accurately document and report problems to technical staff for resolution. You will categorize and prioritize service requests by maintaining database with up-to-date status information. You may also generate and track purchase requests, maintenance contracts, staff data, and departmental policies and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned. Position Requirements: • Minimum of HS Diploma and 4+ years of related experience, however Associate’s or equivalent technical training preferred with two years of experience in Help Desk environment • Strong analytical and technical experience • Knowledge of commonly used computer concepts, practices, and procedures • Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) Understanding of basic networking, servers and workstations • Experience in troubleshooting and problem resolution • Self-starter that takes initiative and the ability to work well in a team environment • Ability to work rotating shifts to include holidays and weekends Security Requirements: US Citizenship and minimum active interim DoD Secret clearance with eligibility for DHS Suitability More Information: This job opening is just one of the many openings we have.
