This is an update on the theft of my bicycle from my garage. Lisa Passero called me and said that she saw the suspect on the lower block of Melrose. I was driving by and spotted him. I pulled over onto Wellington and stopped to call 911. As I was talking to the 911 operator I saw a guy riding my bike on Aberdeen. I turned down Aberdeen and the perfect storm happened. A police car was driving by (Officer Felton, whom I knew from Wilson Magnet) and I hit the horn and he stopped. I pointed to the guy who was riding my bike. He pulled up on the sidewalk and stopped the guy. He took down some information from this person who said that he bought it from someone for $12. I rode my bike home and Officer Felton proceeded to check for the person who took the bike. They have arrested him. I am happy to have my bike back, but I am even happier that they have apprehended the thief. He lives on the first block of Melrose.
