This is another case of how we teach our kids to Stand up for them selves, be individuals, think for themselves, support others and do what is right. And when it is done at school you will get in trouble for doing just that. i know many that have had similar things happen and even back in my day, i too have been in trouble for doing what is right and standing up for myself. I think a little more thought has to be given to who really is the bad people and who is wrong. just because you have a rule doesnt mean it is correct it is more then sad that this little girl wanted to support her friend by taking a bold step. the lesson to remember is that you can be strong and an individual and stand up and do whats right; as long as you dont do it in school. .....so how does one stand up to a bully if one will get in trouble for doing so....how does one take an interest in a cause, if doing so violates an outdated rule? how do we instill the best qualities we have in our youth, if those who teach will reply with disciplinary action. America this is why the youth of the nation is messed up and could give a damn about anything.
