This is another example of new forms of willful journalistic malpractice that have become too, too common on the internet. (mal as in malicious) The headline is States where the Middle Class is Dying. When I was in school shortly after the invention of movable type, one would expect to find a list of the states somewhere at least in the first two or three paragraphs. But I have to click on link that will take me to a slide show and God knows what else. To this I say Foxtrot Uniform Charlie Kilo Yankee Uniform Oscar. I am not going to play that game. Huff Post; this may be cute when you have a list of gowns seen on the red carpet, but please stop this annoying practice in your Business section.
