This is another one of those “dark” tunes I wrote years ago - TopicsExpress

This is another one of those “dark” tunes I wrote years ago disguised as a happy tune at the end. I got the idea from John Lennons song, “God.” This song is a much simplified version of that concept and I kept it that way on purpose. I remember a lot of my teenage friends told me that this particular song spoke to them. So I was happy it had the effect I wanted, even back then. This is song #105. I DONT BELIEVE I LEFT MY LIFE IN WHAT I THOUGHT I HAD BEFORE, BUT NOW ITS GONE, I SEE THE END..... I WALKED THE STREETS OF PURPLE HAZE FROM OUT OF THE BLUE. I SEE THE THINGS THAT WOULD SCARE THE HELL OUT OF YOU. I DONT BELIEVE IN GOD. I DONT BELIEVE IN YOU. I DONT BELIEVE IN RELIGION. I DONT BELIEVE IN YOUR TRUTH, OHO! I SEE THE BLOODY STREETS THAT WE HAVE MADE TO RUIN. I LIVE IN DREAMS THAT MAKE ME CRY. I WALK THE PATH OF LONELY TIMES OF HATE AND PAIN. NOW I SEE A LIFE FOR ME THAT DIED ONCE AGAIN. I DONT BELIEVE IN LOVE. I DONT BELIEVE WHAT I SEE. I DONT BELIEVE IN WAR. I JUST BELIEVE IN ME, OHO! Written and performed by Wayde K. Brown & The Santairs Copyright 2014—All Rights Reserved. Recorded at The CELL BLOCK Studio in Auburn, WA.
