This is becoming a more common story for us. We gained a new patient who was a long time patient of a national hearing aid franchise . Before coming to us, he went back to the franchise practice and asked for an extra discount for being a loyal long-term patient. They offered him an additional $1000 off the price of his hearing aids. That was still more than $1500 above the price we charge for a similar model and our model includes more technology and services. The real breaking point came when this person ask for details about the new hearing aid technology. The practitioner could not provide details about the new technology and how it would benefit the patient. He started looking for a new practice and practitioner. After spending some time with us we are happy to say he is one of our new patients.
