This is bullshit. I am sorry, but if you are receiving a bill you are on a plan of some sort. I am with telstra, and if I am one day late they ring me to advise that it needs to be paid by whatever date normally 2 days to avoid a late fee (this has happened once) They also give you a prompt if you are getting close to going over your allowed usage either calls or data. The issue is ppl are not paying weekly/fortnightly installments to cover their monthly bill and then struggling to find a lump sum. I understand being on a pension etc is tough, however, it is not Telstras fault that you didnt pay your bill. They offer payment plans if you are financially in trouble. the trouble with having a plan is most ppl dont think about the charges like they would if you had a prepaid or had to use the phone box. So Im sorry, but I dont think this law suit is right.
