This is for Muslims and Christians. Let us have an open debate about miracles by Jesus and also which many claimed to be have been performed by Muhammad . At least Jesus turned water into wine and did many miracles... for example : In the New Testament, we can see here in the Gospel of John, Chapter 2, records Jesus performing a miracle at a wedding in Cana of Galilee. At the wedding, the hosts ran out of wine. Jesus mother, Mary, asks Jesus to intervene, and He does so, reluctantly. Jesus has the servants bring six jars filled with water and then instructs the servants to give it to the overseer of the celebration. The water miraculously turns into wine, and the overseer declares that it was the best wine he had ever tasted. In this account, Jesus performed an amazing miracle, actually altering the molecular composition of the water, changing it into wine. The point of the account is summarized in : John 2:11, This miraculous sign at Cana in Galilee was the first time Jesus revealed his glory. And his disciples believed in him. Jesus was there with extended family and close friends. Mary was his witness too, so who do we believe? Jesus and his family and mother or Muhammad? so-called miracles by Prophet Muhammad.......where i believe he tries to be like Jesus I have a problem with these hadiths in Sahih Bukhari, because they dont say where the water actually come from, it said the water came from Allah. It does not prove that Muhammad did these miracles from God, it says water was BROUGHT to him, yeah? from where though? he didnt have the pot with him so people can make wudu. Muhammad cant just say to people : I was given was the Divine Inspiration which Allah revealed to me. .... anybody can say that. HADITH Narrated Anas bin Malik: saw Allahs Apostle when the Asr prayer was due and the people searched for water to perform ablution but they could not find it. Later on (a pot full of) water for ablution was brought to Allahs Apostle . He put his hand in that pot and ordered the people to perform ablution from it. I saw the water springing out from underneath his fingers till all of them performed the ablution (it was one of the miracles of the Prophet). (Sahih Bukhari, Book #4, Hadith #170) Narrated Anas: It was the time for prayer, and those whose houses were near got up and went to their people (to perform ablution), and there remained some people (sitting). Then a painted stove pot (Mikhdab) containing water was brought to Allahs Apostles The pot was small, not broad enough for one to spread ones hand in; yet all the people performed ablution. (The sub narrator said, We asked Anas, How many persons were you? Anas replied We were eighty or more). (It was one of the miracles of Allahs Apostle). (Sahih Bukhari, Book #4, Hadith #194) Narrated Abdullah: We used to consider miracles as Allahs Blessings, but you people consider them to be a warning. Once we were with Allahs Apostle on a journey, and we ran short of water. He said, Bring the water remaining with you. The people brought a utensil containing a little water. He placed his hand in it and said, Come to the blessed water, and the Blessing is from Allah. I saw the water flowing from among the fingers of Allahs Apostle , and no doubt, we heard the meal glorifying Allah, when it was being eaten (by him). (Sahih Bukhari, Book #56, Hadith #779) Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, Every Prophet was given miracles because of which people believed, but what I have been given, is Divine Inspiration which Allah has revealed to me. So I hope that my followers will outnumber the followers of the other Prophets on the Day of Resurrection. (Sahih Bukhari, Book #61, Hadith #504) Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, There was no prophet among the prophets but was given miracles because of which people had security or had belief, but what I was given was the Divine Inspiration which Allah revealed to me. So I hope that my followers will be more than those of any other prophet on the Day of Resurrection. (Sahih Bukhari, Book #92, Hadith #379)
