This is for my three beautiful daughters. Wrote an 8 line poem in 1992 for an ex girlfriend, sat in the park yesterday and finished it.Hope you like it.....Love Dad xxxx The soul I tried, So hard to find, Lies locked, In my unconscious mind. Although I am already there, I still have reasons to despair, Though dreams still harder to conceal, I cast adrift the pain I feel, At least my thoughts belong to me, They are my fate my destiny. I don`t know where, I don`t know why, Some want to live, Some dream to die. A gentle shake, A knowing nod, I`m just a man, I`m not a god. That endless pain, That joyous touch, The ones, You want to hold so much. Their just not there, How hard you try, So all alone, The tears you cry. At least my thoughts, Belong to me, They are my fate, My destiny. My gorgeous girls, There gorgeous eyes, Their love is mine, There are no lies. Their pretty faces, Make me smile, I`ll crush my tears, Might take a while. That empty place, The old school play, Those angel wings, Will not go away. My girls, Are half of Mum and Dad, They make me proud, They make me glad. I hope there thoughts, Belong to me, They are my fate, My destiny.
