This is from the farmers almanac. Pumpkin shell custard 5 to 7 # pumpkin 6 whole eggs 2 cups heavy cream or milk 1/2 cups brown sugar 1 tablespoon molasses 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg 1 teaspoon cinnamon 1/4 teaspoon ginger 2 tablespoons butter Whipped cream, optional Directions: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Cut lid off pumpkin and scoop out seeds. Mix remaining ingredients except butter and pour in pumpkin. Top with butter. Place lid back on pumpkin and place in a baking pan. Bake for 1 to 1½ hours or until mixture has set like a custard. To serve, remove top and scoop out some of the pumpkin with the custard. Serve with whipped cream
