This is fun... In tonights mail, I got a fold-over business-card sized note from a car dealership in Bassett, VA. It appears to be hand-written, cursive-like and on a slope, but to my trained printers eye it is a printed font (Cant fool me!!!). It says, and I quote: Michael, I have someone interested in your vehicle and can possibly get you into a new model and lower your payment. Give me a call. John (not his real name) Now then... 1) I dont know this guy. 2) Bassett is a long way away and my chance of buying a car there is exceedingly small. 3) I havent had a car payment since the Germans surrendered to the Allies. In World War I. 4) He clearly doesnt know anything about my car. Im very fond of my 1993 Honda Accord LX, but it has 300,000 miles on it and the rear window doesnt shut all the way, the dashboard lights work intermittently, it shakes all over when it goes over a bump, and it leaks brake fluid. If I tried to use it as an anchor in a lake, the fish would get together and throw it back on land. Please discuss without using the words Democrat or Republican.
